The Navy SSR (Agniveer) Vacancy 2024 will have a Computer Based Written Test. Here’s what you need to know:
- Mode of Exam: It will be a Computer Based Test (CBT).
- Time Duration: You’ll have 60 minutes to complete the test.
- Medium of Exam: The test will be available in both Hindi and English.
- Type of Exam: It’s an Objective Type Multiple Choice Exam, meaning you’ll choose the correct answer from a set of options.
- Negative Marking: For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted from your total score.
- English: 100 questions, each question carries 0.5 marks, totaling 50 marks.
- Science: 100 questions, each question carries 0.5 marks, totaling 50 marks.
- Maths: 100 questions, each question carries 0.5 marks, totaling 50 marks.
- General Awareness: 100 questions, each question carries 0.5 marks, totaling 50 marks.
The syllabus covers a wide range of subjects, including science, mathematics, English, and general awareness.
- Science: The science section covers topics such as the physical world and measurement, mechanics of solids and fluids, heat thermodynamics, oscillations, waves, electrostatics, current electricity, magnetic effect of current, magnetism, electromagnetic induction and alternating current, electromagnetic waves, optics, dual nature of matter and radiations, atomic nucleus, solid and semi-conductor devices, principles of communication, metals and non-metals, organic chemistry, food, nutrition and health, physiology and human diseases, and computer science.
- Mathematics: The mathematics section covers topics such as relations, functions and logarithms, complex numbers, quadratic equations, sequences and series, trigonometry, cartesian system of rectangular coordinates, straight lines, family of straight lines, circles, conic section, vectors, exponential and logarithmic series, sets and set theory, statistics, probability function, limits and continuity, differentiation, applications of derivatives, indefinite integrals, definite integrals, theorems, determinants, and matrices.
- English: The English section covers topics such as passage, preposition, correction of sentences, change active to passive/passive to active voice, verbs/tense/non-finites, punctuation, use of adjective, compound preposition, determiners, use of pronouns, and synonyms and antonyms.
- General awareness: The general awareness section covers topics such as culture and religion, soil, geography, ports, inland harbours, movement, freedom, sports championships, winners/terms/no. of players, defence, neighbours, affairs, important national facts about India, heritage, arts, dance, history, national languages, bird, animal, song, flag, monuments, capitals & currencies, common names, full forms, abbreviations, discoveries, diseases and nutrition, award and authors, eminent personalities, spatial, numerical reasoning, associative & ability, sequences, spellings, unsc scrambling, coding and decoding.
